With a superb fourth round knockout of Davide Dieli at Leeds First Direct Arena, Josh Warrington added the European Featherweight title to his British and Commonwealth belts.
Josh looked ready to become triple champion from the moment he stepped into the ring, roared on by a passionate home crowd who helped make it an unforgettable night for Leeds sport.
Dieli was never given a chance as Josh took and kept control of the fight, until a sudden burst of combination punches in the first round put Dieli on the canvas; the Italian got back on his feet after an eight count, only for a storm of unanswered punches from Josh to force the referee to step in and end the fight.
After the fight Josh paid tribute to the fans who packed the Arena and created a superb and unique Leeds atmosphere around the ring.
"How can I not get fired up with all these fans?" he told Sky Sports. "They are absolutely amazing. I don't know any other place in the country which creates an atmosphere like this.
"It's hard not to get carried away because they get you very fired up, but I use all the energy from the crowd and take it into the ring. They keep me going from the first bell to the last."
